I've had friends who blamed a relationship's end on the long-distance thing, but really, in those cases, those couples would have only broken up SOONER if they'd lived near each other. But who can blame them? Distance is a perfect, personless scapegoat. I'm going to two weddings this year that were long-distance relationships.

Thanks for this post!
