My new word for the week:
“Limper”
Now, the definition for this new terminology came in the context of a group discussion about dating… the girls asked about why it seems that the most “got it together” girls spend more time single than other girls who date from guy to guy. And the term “limper” came up.
“Limpers:” girls who are good for a date or three when a guy feels either a bit lazy, has a low self esteem moment or otherwise distracted by life in general. Not necessarily the gal he plans to take home to mom, she’s the gal who can add a little company to life while bored.
As a girl, all I can say to this is…hummmmmmmm. (Although to be fair, I’ve seen lots of guy limpers too)
What is it that causes us to chose to fill time with someone who we know doesn’t inspire us to our best and brightest? Are we really that afraid of spending time alone? Getting to know what makes us tick apart from someone else’s influence?
So, why Limpers?
